Today is DIWALI and I have some delicious recipes that you can try.
But let me be honest, I am still learning so 3 out of 4 snacks were cooked by my mom for Diwali.
So I'll be posting 4 parts of the Diwali Special..!!

Starting with Dal Vada also known as Paripuvada in south
INGREDIENTS:
Chana Dal 300gm
Green Chilli 6pcs
Small Onion 6
Curry leaves 2 stem
Pepper 6
Ginger 2 tbsp
Salt As per taste
Hing / asafoetida 1 pinch
Oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Soak Chana Dal in water for 3-4hrs. After that rinse it and remove the water and keep it aside.
- Keep 2-3 spoon Chana Dal aside and put rest in the mixer and grind it to a coarse paste without adding water. DO NOT grind it to a SMOOTH paste.
- Grind the ginger,pepper,small onion, green chilli, curry leaves all together . Mix the grounded dal and grounded masala together, also mix hing and 2-3 spoon chana dal which you kept aside and add salt as per taste in a bowl.
- Make small round patties from the mixture by pressing it in your palm
- Pour oil into a deep bottom pan and let the oil heat.When the oil is hot deep fry the vada in medium flame till its nice and crispy brown
